St. John’s. A great surface and good stand which makes for a great atmosphere.

Which opposition ground do you dread playing on and why?

Aghagallon. Too far away.

Always a great battle with Ahoghill. We had a great win in the Senior Championship last year to put us through after they nipped us first in the group.

Which team have you enjoyed the least success against, and is there one you’d prefer to forget?

Probably Lamh Dhearg, the loss in the third replay in the Senior Championship in 2019 was a tough one to take.

Which opposition player have you enjoyed marking and why?

Big Pat Shivers. Gets stuck in and you’re guaranteed a post game pint.

Which opposition player have you disliked marking and why?

Not marking but coming up against Rossa ‘keeper Mick Byrne. He’s a tough man to score past to say the least.

Which player would you transfer into your team and why?

Rory Beggan. Different level.

Which team, apart from your own, do you like to see do well and why?

Like to see the local teams across the bridge do well, Bellaghy, Greenlough, Lavey.

What’s the most frustrating defeat you have experienced?

The Senior Championship semi final v Creggan. One that got away.

What’s the most satisfying victory you have experienced?

The 2019 Senior Championship replay against St. John’s up in Belfast on the 4G. A great atmosphere and also a great game.

Which team, apart from your own, do you see doing big things?

Can see Lavey getting back to the top of Derry very soon, quality youth coming through.
