OVER the years Moore Concrete have supplied a number of GAA clubs with prestressed wall panels such as Cushendall, Ballygalget, Lavey and Castlewellan for ball walls and other building purposes. Our concrete panels come in a range of heights and thicknesses and the length can be made to order.

Moore Concrete Products Ltd was founded in Ballymena back in 1978 by current Managing Director Wilbert Moore. The first product manufactured was a cattle slat and to this day, agriculture remains a key part of the business.

Over the last 40 years the company has grown to over 160 employees and serves 3 key markets – Agriculture, Civils & Building.

Within the agricultural market Moore Concrete manufacture a wide range of products from the innovative Surefoot Slip-Resistant Slats, Ox Fence timberless fencing solution, Bunker Walls, concrete water & feed troughs to Above Ground Slurry Stores and prestressed wall panels.

Moore Concrete also do a lot of work in the Civils market and have supplied some award-winning projects in recent years, the latest being the stunning Hydro Ness hydroelectric scheme which sits on the River Ness, Inverness. The project won the Best Small Project of the Year at the prestigious British Construction Industry Awards 2022 along with a host of other awards over the past few months.

Aware of the impact precast concrete manufacturing has on the environment, Moore Concrete have been adopting new processes for over 20 years and are on a Pathway to Net Zero. Recently, we took a massive step forward when we produced one of our precast Bunker Walls with Earth Friendly Concrete, which contains absolutely no cement. By removing the cement, the carbon footprint of the product can be reduced by up to 80%.
