All-star nominations: The Fermanagh ladies who kicked up a storm

Here are the three players who have been nominated for the Fermanagh ladies All-Star award.

SARAH JANE JONES (DERRYGONNELLY)

Derrygonnelly youngster Sarah Jane Jones was so impressive for her club that she was parachuted into the Fermanagh senior team, making her championship debut in November. She ended her season with an All-Ireland Junior Championship medal, but is included in her list for her fantastic performances with Derrygonnelly.

COURTENEY MURPHY (KINAWLEY)

Fermanagh captain Courteney Murphy was injured in their All-Ireland Junior final win over Wicklow, but she was able to play a full role for her club Kinawley as they won the senior championship victory over Derrygonnelly. A really athletic presence in the full-back line.

AINE MCMANUS (KINAWLEY)

Kinawley’s championship final victory over Derrygonnelly wasn’t really a day for forwards, but Aine McManus still managed to impress with a really influential display. Has a commendable attitude, is very composed on the ball and her distribution is top notch.
