Gerard O’Kane: The day Joe Diver tried to lay down the law

GERARD O’Kane has told the story about how he was left cowering along with Eoin Bradley as Joe Diver tore after them down the team bus.

In a humorous column in Gaelic Life, O’Kane speaks of team bonding and why games on public holidays are unfair on the players involved.

“Joe then proceeded to stride down the bus after us with fellas stepping in his way before it took four or five men to intervene and get him up the back of the bus. He just said he had enough of listening to us pair and he wasn’t going to listen to it anymore.”
