
TESTING TIMES…A lot of young players have big games and big exams
GAELIC life columnist Kevin Cassidy has said that more must be done to protect inter-county players who are undergoing examinations at this time of the year.
Writing in this week’s Gaelic Life, Cassidy said that it’s an issue that is still very much unsolved.
“For any student involved with county panels, these last few weeks can be testing. Training with the county squad is nearly at fever-pitch level while at the same time while at the same time you are trying to juggle it with your study commitments.”
