Enda Muldoon was one of the most skilful players in the game, but his skills were learned

Stephen Poacher, in his column in this week’s Gaelic Life, explains why everyone can learn skills.

“Some people may argue that certain people are gifted or naturally skillful. I would completely disagree with terms like this.

“Skill is without doubt a learned ability to bring about a predetermined goal or result with maximum certainty or efficiency”

He then goes on to explain how someone learns a skill, but also how  coach can effectively help players learn their skills.
