FORMER Tipperary goalkeeper Darren Gleeson will remain in charge of the Antrim senior hurlers, it has been confirmed this morning.
Gleeson, who led the county to Joe McDonagh Cup triumphs in 2020 and 2022, has been granted a two-year extension with the option of a third year by the Antrim County Board.
He was appointed to the position in 2019 having already been part of the previous management team, and while has been linked to vacancies, he has decided to stay put in news that will be welcomed by Antrim fans as they look ahead to a third season of Division One hurling.
