Hurling round-up: Antrim go top of Division 2A

Antrim have jumped ahead of Kerry at the top of the Division 2A standings after their fine six-point win over their promotion rivals at the weekend.

The Saffrons held a three-point lead at the break there on a difference of 0-12 to 1-06. A Domhnall Nugent goal following half-time helped them to an eventual 2-14 to 2-20 win in Tralee.

The top two pairing will be confirmed this weekend after the rescheduled encounter between Offaly and Antrim at Bord na Mona O’Connor Park on Sunday (throw-in, 2pm).

In Division 2B, a point is all Derry need to make the final in their rearranged clash with Kildare at Celtic Park on Sunday (throw-in, 2pm). Down will provide the opposition there.

In 3A, Donegal will take on Armagh in the decider at Carrickmore, Tyrone (throw-in, 2pm) while the 3B final will be between Sligo and either Leitrim or Fermanagh.
