Team news:

Naomh Gall won the Ulster Intermediate Hurling Championship in 2018, which indicated that they were a club who were keen to grow the hurling side of their club.

This year they have brought in Chris Dornan from Cushendall to take the team.

Dornan had some good news to report this week when he informed us that a number of players who were missing last year, have returned from injury.

They are Sean and Conor Burke, Mark Napier and Ryan Irvine.

On the down side, they have lost Ciaran McCaffery, Antoin McCaffery, Adam O’ Hare Oran McIlhatton and Lorcan O’ Ciarain to injury.

Dornan did say that they have a few younger players impressing this year who are in contention to play some part. They are Liam McCluskey, Marcus Donnelly, Daniel Churchill, Ronan Crossen and Paddy Friel.
