Jackman remains with Saffrons

By Michael McMullan

FERMANAGH native Niall Jackman will remain in charge of Antrim’s u-20footballers for a third season.

Jackman will be assisted by coaches Aaron Douglas, Matthew Gribbin, Sean McKenna, Stephen Bateson and Paddy Kelly.

Marcus Graham will be in charge of Strength and Conditioning with Mark McAreavey (Performance Analyst) also on board.

It follows on from news that Paudie Shivers will remain at the helm with the county’s u-20 hurlers.

Donegal and Derry are still yet to finalise their u-20 football managers for the 2024 season.

The process to replace Leo McLoone in Donegal is currently ongoing and at an advanced stage.

Martin Boyle this week stepped down as Derry u-20 football manager. A successor is yet to be appointed though it’s understood there will be a link to the senior management.

Ryan O’Neill remains in charge of Derry u-20 hurlers and he has added goalkeeper coach Kieran Stevenson to his management team of Kevin Kelly, Martin Birt and John O’Dwyer.
