Armagh SFC draw throws up some intriguing ties

Reigning champions Crossmaglen take on neighbours Mullaghbawn along with Clan na Gael and Sarsfiels in Group D of the Armagh SFC.

The Rangers got back on top in the Orchard County last season, reclaiming the Gerry Fagan Cup after a two year hiatus and will once again begin the competition as favourites.

Division 1A league champions Clann Eireann, who won the SFC in 2021, defeating Crossmaglen in the final, lead the chasing pack.

They were drawn against last years beaten finalists Granemore, St Peter’s and Grange in Group B.

Group A is certainly the group of death as 2020 winners Maghery take on Ballymacnab, Killeavy and Dromintee.

Group C consists of Madden, 2017 champions Armagh Harps, Division 1B league winners Silverbridge and Shane O’Neill’s.
