DAMIAN Feeney will be in charge of Pearse Og for the upcoming season having been ratified last night. The Ogs were relegated to the Intermediate Championship in the Orchard County for 2026.
Feeney comes with an impressive CV having managed Magheracloone in Monaghan over the past two seasons. The Middletown native brought an Intermediate Championship to Magheracloone in his first season last year.
They pushed on again in 2025, reaching the last four of the Senior Championship, only for Inniskeen to halt their progress. Magheracloone didn’t finish the season emptyhanded however as they claimed the Division One league title with a final win over Scotstown.
Pearse Og parted ways with Garreth Thornton before the championship started this season and Paul Doyle returned to the hotseat to see out the campaign. Feeney will be the man in the Ogs dugout in the new year.
