Kelly appointed new Derrynoose boss

By Shaun Casey

DERRYNOOSE have appointed Audi Kelly as their new manager, with Conor McVerry coming in alongside him. Derrynoose will compete in Division 2A next season, having claimed the Division 2B league title under Paul Hagan in 2025.

The Edendork clubman led Moy to the All-Ireland Intermediate title in 2018 along with Gavin McGilly, when they defeated An Ghaeltacht in the decider.

He also guided Aghagallon to a second ever Senior Championship decider in 2022, twelve months after their first appearance, and they lost out to Cargin by a goal. Kelly stepped away after just once season in charge.

The Derrynoose club have made major strides over the last number of years, since clinching the Junior Championship crown in 2022. They are a top Intermediate Championship contender in the Orchard County.
