FORMER Louth player Shane Lennon will be back on the sidelines for Crossmaglen next season having been re-appointed as their manager, with coach Gerry Seaver staying on board as well.
The Rangers haven’t tasted domestic success in the Orchard County since 2023, failing to reach the last two county finals. Clann Eireann and Cullyhanna ended their campaigns at the semi-finals stage in the last two seasons.
Lennon’s side were sailing towards the decider this year against Cullyhanna when the game dramatically flipped on it’s head in the final ten minutes and the St Patrick’s men edged things by one point.
With youngsters like Aaron O’Neill and Aaron Haughey making the breakthrough in the past number of years, Crossmaglen remain a top contender for the Gerry Fagan Cup and will be one of the big hitters once again in 2026.
