JOE Baldwin will take charge of the Derrynoose hurlers for the upcoming 2026 season. Baldwin brought the curtain down on his six-year tenure as Fermanagh hurling manager back in May.
The Coleraine native led the Erne County to a Lory Meagher Cup title in 2024, beating Longford at Croke Park, and helped them gain promotion to Division Three during the league this season.
Fermanagh have competed regularly with Armagh over the past few seasons and shared some close encounters, so Baldwin will have an insight into the standard of hurling within the Orchard County.
Derrynoose reached the semi-finals of the Senior Championship in the last two seasons, but lost out to Keady on both occasions. They have never won the county title, which has been dominated by Middletown in recent years, and Baldwin will look to improve their fortunes.
