RYAN Daly and Stephen Beattie will remain in charge of Crosserlough having steered the team to this year’s Cavan Senior Championship title in their debut season at the helm.
The Tyrone natives will look back fondly on 2024, having engineered their run to Senior Championship honours, and they were arguably unlucky not to get the better of Kilcoo in the first round of the provincial series.
Beaten Cavan Senior Championship finalists Ramor, meanwhile, will again be managed by Jude and Pat McNabb, also two natives of the Red Hand County.
The McNabbs were also in their debut season in 2024 and will hope to build on the progress that was made having guided the team to the Division One title. They dumped out holders Gowna in the semi-finals of the championship before falling short against Crosserlough in a game characterised by the stormy conditions.
Elsewhere, Cavan Gaels are on the look out for a new manager after club natives Seanie Johnston and Michael Lyng stepped down.
Killygarry have appointed Damien Keaney, an experienced manager who led Ballyhaise to a 2023 Ulster Intermediate final appearance. Keaney is a native of the Killygarry club so it’s an exciting challenge.
2023 Cavan Senior finalists have appointed Louth man Colin Kelly, while Fergal Flanagan is set to remain in charge of his home club Castlerahan. Mullahoran and Ballyhaise, two teams with a lot of potential, are both on the look out for new managers.
And as reported earlier this month, Vinny Corey has been appointed as manager of Gowna. Corey recently stepped aside as Monaghan boss after two seasons in charge and he’ll be looking to bring back further honours to a club that won the 2022 and 2023 Cavan Senior Championship titles under Fintan Reilly and Dermont McCabe.
