Derry, Down and Antrim all remain in hunt

Derry added a second win to the Division 3 table in the Allianz Leagues with a 2-10 to 1-9 win over Louth at Celtic Park on Sunday.

Oak Leaf full forward Shane McGuigan impressed most as he helped himself to 1-7 of his side’s total. Rory Gallagher’s men now move to five points, three off the tails of leaders Cork.

Derry make the long trip to the Rebels this coming Sunday.

Meanwhile, Down had a last minute James Guinness goal to thank for their 2-13 to 1-14 win over Longford at Pairc Esler.

The Mourne side also move to five points in the standings. They go to Offaly in Round 5.

Elsewhere, in Division 4 Antrim rallied late with three closing points earning them a draw at home to Carlow in Glenavey. The Saffrons are third in the table on five points, three behind toppers Limerick.
