Ulster SFC final referee announced

By Michael McMullan

TYRONE referee Sean Hurson has been appointed to take charge of Sunday week’s Ulster Senior Football final in Clones.

The Galbally man will take charge of the eagerly awaited clash of Derry and Donegal, his first Ulster Championship game since Armagh’s win over Antrim last season.

Hurson was standby referee for the 2020 All-Ireland Senior final and was the man in the middle for Mayo’s 0-14 to 0-13 Connacht final win over Galway earlier in the year.

He also took charge of the 2022 All-Ireland Club final, which saw Kilcoo see off Kilmacud Crokes after extra time.
