Draws made for the Donegal championship

THE draws for the first two rounds of the 2022 Donegal SFC were made on Tuesday evening, streamed live via Facebook.

After four rounds of games, the top eight teams make up the quarter-finals, with the following four going into relegation play-offs and the loser of the relegation final relegated to the 2023 Intermediate Championship.

Champions St Eunan’s are at home to St Naul’s followed by a trip to Bundoran in the second round.

Beaten finaliasts Naomh Conaill face Glenswilly witb Kilcar at home to Milford.

Last year’s Intermediate champions Cloughaneely will travel to Donegal town to take on Four Masters.

The draw for rounds three and four will be made at a later date by Donegal CCC.

This will be followed by the quarter-final stages.

The Donegal senior champions are away to the winners of Antrim in the Ulster Club on the weekend of November 12/13.

Intermediate Football Championship

The Intermediate system is based on two groups of six teams.

After four rounds of games, the clubs will be ranked in descending order, from one to 12.

The quarter-finals will be made based on these placings

4 v 5

The semi-finals will be an open draw.
