Tanya Roberts Brown to lead GAA working group

DONEGAL’S Tanya Roberts Brown has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the GAA Wheelchair Hurling/ Camogie working group.

Like Sinead Crowley, Chairperson of the GAA Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion has experience and expertise in disability, diversity, and Inclusive practices to this position.

A member of Donegal’s PR team, she has been chairperson of Bord na nÓg and PRO of her local club Na Dunaibh

“We are delighted to have both Sinead and Tanya assume the roles” said Geraldine McTavish, GAA Diversity and Inclusion Manager.

“Their leadership will undoubtedly steer the working groups towards accomplishing our strategic objectives and advancing our mission to increase awareness of the GAA wheelchair Hurling/ Camogie sport, football for all sport and the wide brief of the Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

“Their passion for excellence and commitment to driving positive change will be invaluable assets as we work together to address the challenges and opportunities ahead.”

Tiernach Mahon, Karen Savage and Conor Watson have also been appointed.
