Team news:

Downpatrick have appointed clubmen Kevin Gracey and Aidan Robinson as they attempt to get a more in-house feel to things. There are no major changes from last year’s panel. Tom Smyth and Johnny Collins are doubts for the championship clash with Rostrevor after undergoing surgery while one of their key men, Sean Bell, is also a doubt. The experienced Peter Turley will captain the side while they will also look to the likes of county man Gerdie Collins to drive them on. Played the Reds in the first round last year and were outfought. They were better against Bryansford the next day, but still lost out by a point. They shouldn’t be short on motivation.
