Derrygonnelly still the team to beat in Fermanagh

A late Stephen McGullion polished off an opening day win for champions Derrygonnelly and Belnaleck were reeled in by Erne Gaels. The Harps scored well and could back it with this weekend.

TEEMORE V ERNE GAELS

Sunday, St Mary’s Park, 3.30pm

League champions Erne Gaels finished strong last weekend and Seamus Ryder’s men will hope to take that performance on the road this weekend against the Shamrocks.

Saturday, St Patrick’s Park, 5pm

Dom Corrigan has steered his native Kinawley in the right direction this season. His sons Tomás and Ruairi were key players last weekend. It will be an interesting trip to Ederney

Sunday, Shamrock Park, 6pm

The Gaels were comfortable last weekend and take on a Roslea team on the back of a defeat. Conor Love and Conor McShea hold the keys for a second win.

FERMANAGH INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

MAGUIRESBRIDGE V DEVENISH

Sunday, Páirc na hÓige, 3pm

A star man performance from Fionan O’Brien helped Devenish to victory in their opening game. Maguiresbridge will need help for Ryan Hyde and Daniel Teague this weekend.

DERRYLIN V BELCOO

Sunday, O’Connell Park, 3pm

Two Paul McGrath goals helped Belcoo off to a winning start on Sunday. Derrylin lost both halves in their defeat to Devenish.

ST PATRICK’S DONAGH V TEMPO

Saturday, Louis Leonard Park, 3pm

Both teams had winning starts. Three goals shot last year’s junior winners Donagh over the line, with Oisin Murphy’s goal doing the trick. Something has to give.

IRVINESTOWN V LISNASKEA

Saturday, St Molaise’s Park, 5pm

Irvinestown were undone by a second half goal against Tempo and will look to get back to their fine league form this weekend with Gary Maguire and Ronan Ormsby leading the line up front.
