MICKEY Graham has been confirmed as the new manager of Cavan.

The Cavan Gaels man got the nod ahead of Aidan O’Rourke and Michael McDermott, who were also interviewed.

“Current Cavan GAA Games Development Manager and former Allstar Dermot McCabe will join Mickey’s backroom along with Monaghan native Martin Corey who will have a coaching role,” said the county board.

“The full backroom team will be finalised in due course.

“We take this opportunity to wish Mickey and his management team every success in their new role as Cavan look forward to returning to Division One of the Allianz Football League in 2019.”
