Name: Alexandra Clarke

Age: 20

Teams played for: Crossmaglen Rangers and Armagh

Which opposition ground do you like playing on and why?
Clones, we have a good track record there and it’s lovely to kick a few on a summer’s day.

Which opposition ground do you dislike going to and why?
Healy Park, Omagh because I fell into a crater one time and thought I wasn’t going to get out of it. So I wouldn’t be a fan of that place at all.

What team have you enjoyed the most success against?
We’ve done well against most teams over the last few years, it’s always nice to meet your closest rivals and we enjoyed the Ulster final win against Donegal.

Which team have you enjoyed least success against?
Meath ladies.

TOUGH COOKIE…Alexandra Clarke has said that Cavan’s Racheal Doonan is a tough marker

Which opposition player have you disliked marking?
Rachael Doonan.

Which player would you transfer in from a team you have come up against?
Carla Rowe or Sinead Goldrick.

Which team, apart from your own, do you like to see do well and why?
I like seeing Monaghan doing well, they’re a team that are very close to home and my mother’s from Castleblayney so I would follow them to keep the peace.

What’s the most frustrating defeat you have experienced?
Meath in the All-Ireland quarter-final in 2021.

What’s the most satisfying victory you have experienced?
Ulster final against Donegal in 2021.

Which team, apart from your own, do you think could be set for big things in the coming years?
Monaghan ladies have good youth coming through so it will be interesting to see what they are like in the next few years.
