New Longstone boss Benny Coulter has had a helping hand as there were no retirements or drop-outs from last year’s panel. What’s more, he has a few key men back as Conor Doran has returned from England while Barry Doran has been talked back into action after missing last season having seemingly retired. Finn McElroy will captain the ‘Stone and with no injuries reported they will be going full tilt when they come up against Loughinisland. The sides have had some recent meetings in Division Two and they also met in the first round last year. That was a strange encounter with the Blues leading by 14 points early in the second half. Longstone did show some fight in tough conditions to reduce the losing margin to five points, and Coulter will expect a tighter match this time around.
