Team news:

The delayed started to the season has handed Pete McGrath’s Rostrevor an unexpected boost. Caolan Mooney looked set to miss the season having suffered a fractured skull in December, but he recently returned for their recent league draw with Mayobridge. Niall Farrell has retired while Damien Magee is taking a year out. Jarlath Farrell is back though despite turning 40. He will bring plenty of experience to the defence and was on the panel when the Reds last won the Senior Championship in 1998. Colm Murney and Eamon McConville, who were both on Down’s 2005 All-Ireland Minor winning side, are also both back on board. Shaun Parr remains the team captain.
