Munroe: Tyrone u-20s can make the senior step-up

TYRONE u-20 star Cormac Munroe feels that a good portion of the Ulster-winning side are capable of making the step up to senior inter-county football.

Munroe’s chances of progression have no doubt improved after he was named the Ulster EirGrid GAA U-20 Player of the Province after helping the Red Hands retain the title last month.

“I suppose it depends on what Mickey is looking for,” said Munroe of the senior prospects.

“The talent is there anyway. There are bags of good footballers there and plenty of them would be fit for it.”
