Slaughtneil 1-15 Dunloy 0-10

Slaughtneil have claimed their third ever Ulster title with victory over Dunloy in Pairc Esler.

In the opening exchanges the Derry champions could have had a goal only for a brilliant stop from Ryan Elliot to deny Brendan Rogers.

Conal Cunning and Cormac O’Doherty the leading lights for their sides as Robert Emmett’s led 0-8 to 0-6 at the break.

4,984 watched on as the closest Dunloy would get in the second half was two points Cormac O’Doherty dispatching a penalty into the net, midway through the second half.

As Mark, Jerome and Sé McGuigan landed late scores to seal the title for the Oakleaf County men.
