The mighty Ruairi Ogs of Cushendall are still recovering from their All-Ireland club hurling final defeat to Na Piarsaigh on St Patrick’s day.
The weekend will have been a quiet one for the Antrim men, as they reflect on what might have been.
Cushendall lost by 2-25 to 2-14, but it was the opening burst of scoring from their Limerick opponents that did them in.
John McKillop’s side couldn’t catch up for the rest of the game, despite huge performances from Shane McNaughton. But in the aftermath they were met with a good deal of well wishes from a lot of fans.
Proud to be apart of this village! Been an amazing year!… https://t.co/FQ0Eu9cNHP
