Tyrone appoint joint managers

TYRONE GAA have confirmed that Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher will be the new joint managers of the county senior football team.

Both were members of the Red Hand side which reached the All-Ireland final in 1995, and they have been handed a three-year term.

They will succeed Mickey Harte, who stepped down earlier this month after 18 years, and were the only applicants interviewed following the withdrawal of Mickey Donnelly.

Logan and Dooher will come to the post with impeccable credentials. They already managed a large number of the current Tyrone senior players at U-21 level, so they will be well aware of his abilities, dedication and commitment.
