Ulster Senior Football Championship Quarter-Final 2019
Antrim 2-9 Tyrone 2-23
From Odhrán Crumley in Armagh
It was all too easy for Tyrone as the easily brushed aside an Antrim challenge without breaking sweat.
Tiernan McCann’s spectacular goal into the top corner of the net before the break only further exerted the Red Hand dominance as Cathal McShane registered five first half points.
Tyrone led 1-16 to 0-5 at the interval.
In the second half, the Saffron’s garnered a little momentum with Matthew Fitzpatrick and Patrick McCormack registering majors.
In truth, these goals would barely lay a finger on the final result, Cathal McAliskey’s major only working to add further insult to injury.
Tyrone will now march on to meet Fermanagh or Donegal in the semi-final on Saturday June 8th.
