Tyrone in the qualifiers last year. We got stuffed.

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?

Crosskeys old field- the biggest health hazard in Denn before the mumps.

Toughest training session you’ve ever been involved in?

2013 county minor running sessions. No footballs involved in the session at all.

What’s your preferred brand of gear?

Adidas or O’Neill’s.

Most inspirational individual you’ve ever met?

Both Brian Reape and Raymond Galligan are very inspirational after five pints.

Where do you like to go to celebrate?

Club – Brady’s in Ballinagh.

County – We’re not allowed to celebrate according to some people in Cavan.

What do you like to do with you are not training/playing?

Spending time with friends. Watching TV.

Which character in any TV show/film are you most like?

Chandler from Friends.

Which team mates (from any club/county) are the first you’d invite on a night out?

Paudie Donohoe and Ryan Connolly are always a good shout. Cian McManus if you want something drank from a shoe.

Which team mate is the worst dancer?

David Brady is the stiffest man I’ve seen on a dance floor. Probably because of all the broken bones.

Which team mate is the loudest in the changing room?

Oisin Pierson

Ben Conaty- he always had something to say.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen happy in training/during a match?

Matty Ruane getting sick in the middle of an All Ireland u-21 final and then getting MOTM.

What’s the worst excuse you’ve heard to get out of training and who did it come from?

Áine O’Reilly – had to move cows, but reckoned she got the work done.

Biggest ego?

Pierce Smith

Worst/best person to sit next to on the team bus?

Padraig Faulkner is always good for a chat en route to a game.

Worst/best person to share a room with on away days?

Eanna O’Connor was always good to play against in FIFA to build up confidence.

Chris Conroy kept me up all night snoring before the first round of the league last year.

Who has the best diet, and who has the worst?

Best- Matty Mckenna with all his notions

Worst – Michael Plunkett- he reckons he has a good diet but the belly speaks for itself .

Toughest opponent you have played against?

I ran into Lee Keegan once, I wasn’t right for a week after it.

Best or worst quote you have heard from a team mate/opponent/

manager?

Eddie Doran from Mayo was once getting abuse from the opposition line about being slow. “You’d be slow too if you were carrying as many medals as me in your back pocket” was his response.

Best manager you have played for?

Finbar O’Reilly.

What frustrates you most about the GAA?

The obsession with fitness/defensive systems and not football.

What’s the best thing about being part of the GAA?

The pints after games.
