Teams played for:

Burt and Donegal

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?

After co titles it’s usually back to An Grianan Hotel, Burt.

If you weren’t playing GAA what would you be at?

Trying to play soccer and a bit of part time golf

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?

Roscommon – Athleague has to be up there

Any odd items in your kit bag?

Nothing major, always carry white insulating tape to keep the knee together

What’s your preferred brand of gear?

Boots-Copa Mundial, Training Gear: O’Neills, Hurl: Cannon, Helmet: Mycro

Who’s the biggest joker in the teams you play for?

You’ve heard this already, but our Physio Colum O’Neill (not be beat for one liners) with the county team and we’d use him a lot with the club. But when he’s not around I’d say ‘Bonso’; doesn’t take him long to rip you to the bone.

Which team mate has the best looking other half?

I couldn’t say that. To be fair, we haven’t seen too many partners. Not sure if there’s a reason behind that.

Who is the worst trainer?

Have I got enough space to use here?
Club: Conor is up there. He always find an excuse to miss, (well he does have this ankle trouble). Then with the county you could name the boys that won’t be training because we don’t have a game coming up that weekend (usual suspects).

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?

Jamesie has to get the curls just right before he heads out.

Who’s the best/worst person to share a room with on away trips?

Away trips it was always me and Sean McVeigh until this year. I was out of action so the management changed it up. Trout was nearly always there too. Them two lads aren’t bad, but worst has to be Bieber (Justin Browne) a jack in the box.

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?

Best- Trout is always good for gossip and a good story on some of the other boys.
Worst – Burnsie always on about women and rallying.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?

These boys know who they are. When you come on to the bus with crisps and chocolate piled into your pockets while the team nutritionist is sitting on the bus, I think that says enough.

Toughest opponent you have faced?

Jamesie is up there. End up marking each other every year. Conor Egan 2010 Lory Meaghar final.

Best manager you’ve ever played under?

After the stick Burnsie got I better skip this one. Too many to single one person out.

Best ever performance?

Co. Final a few years ago, scored 1-05.

One to forget?

Lory Meaghar 2010

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?

Jamesie O Connor (Clare)

If there was a transfer market who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?

Between Tommy Walsh or Joe Cannon in, and out would be anyone if we got them two.
