Forced changes for Derry

Mark Lynch

Mark Lynch

There are just two changes to the Derry team to play Meath on Sunday (Pairc Tailteann, 3pm), which suggests that Damian Barton is seeking to maintain consistency.

However, he has been dealt a blow with the news that Mark Lynch is going to be out for six weeks due to injury.

He’s been replaced by the talented Glen forward Danny Tallon.

The only other change to the team that drew with Clare last weekend is goalkeeper Ben McKinless coming in to replace Thomas Mallon.

Ben McKinless;

Niall Keenan, Conor Nevin, Ronan Murphy;

Neil Forester, Michael McEvoy, Peter Hagan;

Conor McAtamney, James Kielt;

Enda Lynn, Niall Loughlin, Carlus McWilliams;

Benny Heron, Emmett McGuckin, Danny Tallon.
