Representatives from each of our sponsors at the launch of the ninth Gaelic Life All-Stars

The 2019 Gaelic Life All-Stars were officially launched at the Hill of the O’Neill in Dungannon.

The event, which will be the ninth instalment of the awards, will take place on Friday January 10 at the Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan.

At the recent launch, Gaelic Life Editor Ronan Scott told the invited guests that the awards ceremony were not only a celebration of the best players in Ulster, but also a chance to pay tribute to the hard work of the clubs who produce those players.

He also took the chance to reveal the new Gaelic Life All-Stars jersey, which each of the successful All-Star winners will receive on the night.

The All-Stars seek to identify the best Male and female Gaelic Games athletes in Ulster across the four codes.

The winners will be announced in the Autumn after each of the four provincial competitions come to an end.

The main sponsor of the event is theGAAstore.com who was represented by Sarah Jane Owens, marketing manager, who said: “’We are delighted to once again be the headline sponsor of the Gaelic Life All-Stars awards.

“These awards recognise the vast array of talent we have in our province and it is our privilege to be part of such an amazing initiative which we feel is unrivalled in the GAA world.

“McKeever Sports look forward to the awards evening with anticipation and to celebrating the achievements of the worthy winners in this unique environment for club GAA players.”

TheGAAStore.com began in 2005 and has grown into one of the country’s e-commerce success stories and continues to grow in stature throughout Ireland and beyond.

Among those who attended the launch were our other fantastic sponsors, including Ciaran Murphy (Murphy’s Gloves); Tommy Traynor and Terrie Agnew of First Trust Bank; Orla O’Hare of Linswoods and Maurice Rice of Rice Continental; Shane McConville and Ciaran Coleman, Allsport Spectator Facilities Limited; Erin Marshall and Tony Curley, SCL Sales; Connor McGirr (Sallys Omagh); Martin Daly (Hillgrove Hotel) and John Hopkins (Irwins Bakery).

For the fourth year in a row, Gaelic Life will announce four All-Star teams from all four codes to celebrate the talent within Ulster GAA.
The awards don’t stop there as there are a number of category awards, including best manager, best young players, best dual player and club of the year.

Last years’ awards were our biggest yet, and award winners included Kevin Cassidy (Footballer of the Year), Neil McManus (Hurler of the Year), while Bredagh took the coveted Club of the Year prize.
