Armagh club Killeavy closes gates after positive Covid test

ARMAGH club Killeavy have temporarily ceased all activities after one of their players tested positive Covid-19 – although they are hoping for a quick return to action.

In a statement on their Facebook page, chairperson Michael O’Neill said that all activities would be suspended, but further investigation has now led the club to believe that they can resume activities as early as tomorrow if close contact test results return negative.

That will exclude the team impacted – the club’s Junior League side – whose activities will remain suspended regardless of the test results.
