SO, here it is. The club season is in full flow across Ulster and here are the star players from last weekend’s action.
1 Coly Mimnagh- Tattyreagh
His string of fine saves wasn’t enough to keep out Brackaville despite an impressive performance.
2 Gareth Murphy – Killeavy
League champions Killeavy made a brilliant comeback to beat Maghery and Murphy was to the fore.
3 Colm Lennon – Ballybay
An outstanding defensive performance as Ballybay saw off Aughnamullen for their first win.
4 James McBreen – Lavey
Crucial in a must win game against Denn. Marshalled Thomas Edward Donohoe and involved in the winner.
5 Deaglan McCloskey – Loughgiel
Was assured under the high ball in the Shamrocks’ defence in their win over Rossa.
6 Dara McAleenan – Drumgath
The result of the weekend in Ulster and McAleenan anchored the defence in victory over Mayobridge.
7 Ruairí Ó Mianáin – Sleacht Néill
Caught ball, showed for puck-outs and slammed over two important points in victory over Kevin Lynch’s.
8 Ethan Rafferty – Grange
Landed 2-5 from midfield as Grange picked up their second win of the campaign against Belleek.

9 Gary Mohan- Truagh
An excellent performance in the engine room despite losing out to Scotstown’s late winner.
10 Eamonn Brown – Clonduff
Was all over the place as Clonduff put up an impressive tally against Liatroim.
11 Alex McCalmont – Four Masters
Having an excellent season and was again to the fore in their win over Glenfin.
12 Nigel Elliott – Dunloy
Another hour as Dunloy’s heartbeat as they saw off Naomh Éanna to maintain their winning run.
13 Carla Collins – Lavey
She bagged a late goal in a 1-9 haul as Lavey snatched a draw with reigning champions Swatragh.
14 Oisín Gallen – Sean MacCumhaills
Another top-drawer performance with 1-10 against Ardara as they continue to impress.
15 Shane Sexton – Cootehill Celtic
His cracking goal was part of a 1-6 tally against Ballymachugh and he was involved in even more.
