Gaelic Life Team of the Week

ANOTHER week and we had another feast of club action across Ulster. Here are the star players from last weekend’s action.

1 JACK KELLY – Derrygonnelly
Scored two points and performed well as the Harps eased through their Fermanagh semi.

2 CONOR CASSIDY – Carryduff
After a slow start for the side, Cassidy helped shut down Burren’s early momentum.

3 PAUL GAFFNEY – Middletown
Played – and starred – in a number of positions in the Armagh JFC semi-final.

4 EVE LUNDY – Eoghan Rua
Capped off a tremendous campaign  in the Derry Intermediate final win.

5 CEJAY REILLY – Munterconnaught
Starred as his side claimed the  Breffni Junior crown.

6 DARYL BRANAGAN – Kilcoo
Stood up when his team were on the ropes.

7 RYAN TOBIN – Cuchulainn’s
A majestic performance, and four points, in their thrilling Cavan IFC final win.

8 PADDY BYRNE – Naomh Colomba
Outstanding in the middle as his side outclassed Malin in the Donegal IFC decider.

9 JAMES KIERANS – Magheracloone
So impressive in his battle with Donegal’s Jason McGee. Got forward for a goal too.

10 RIAN MCMULLAN – Loughgiel
‘Bubbles’ led the charge as the Shamrocks fought back to shock Dunloy.

11 CONOR JOHNSTON – St John’s
A performance he would have dreamed about as he led the Johnnies to the Antrim showpiece.

12 MAX MAGUIRE – Scotstown
Scored freely and set up the goal as the champions dumped out Latton.

13 EIMEAR SMYTH – Derrygonnelly
Scoring prowess helped her side to a historic first Fermanagh crown after a stunning comeback.

14 YVONNE BONNER – Glenfin
A monster of a performance as Glenfin dethroned champions Termon in the Donegal final.

15 SEAMUS SWEENEY – Éire Óg
Caught the eye throughout and scored the dramatic winning goal in the Tyrone SHC final.
