Gaelic Life Team of the Week

ANOTHER week and we had another feast of club action across Ulster. Here are the star players from last weekend’s action.

1 SHEA MCGUCKIN – Magherafelt
Scored four points, made a great save, defended kick-outs brilliantly. Top display.

2 REECE CUNNING – Dunloy
The youngster was superb as Dunloy ended their long wait for an Antrim SFC title.

3 FINNBARR ROARTY – Naomh Conaill
Looks like a lad who has played senior football for 15 years. Drove his side to the title.

4 KATE DALY – Eglish
Best on the park as Eglish made it 25 not out.

5 JOE MCKEEVER – St Malachy’s
On top of his game as St Malachy’s claimed the Armagh JHC.

6 RORY BRENNAN – Trillick
Showed his class as Ulster champions Errigal Ciaran were dumped out.

7 CALLUM MCGROGAN – Newbridge
Had a big influence in the middle third. Handled a lot of ball and kicked an important late score.

8 DEAN GAFFNEY – Middletown
His 13-point scoring haul was crucial as they saw off rivals Keady in a thriller.

9 EIMEAR JOHNSTON – Dunloy
On the losing side against Loughgiel in the camogie final, but the best player on the pitch.

10 AOIFE BRADY – Lurgan
Accurate from frees and play in the big Ulster win over Steelstown.

11 EAMON MAGUIRE – St Patrick’s
Really excelled as the Donagh men captured the Fermanagh JFC.

12 JOE DILLON – Kingscourt
Experience shone through with star showing in their county final triumph.

13 SHEA PUCCI – Ballygalget
On the double as ‘Galget set up another county final with Portaferry.

14 CONOR O’DONNELL – Carndonagh
Looked every bit the county player as he led his club to Donegal Junior success.

15 ANDREW WOODS – Inniskeen
The powerhouse shone as Inniskeen booked another final date.
