THE remainder of county finals took place last weekend with the heat turning up all across Ulster

Here are the star players from last weekend’s action.

1 DANIELLE MCCOURT – Ballyholland
They may have lost their Ulster clash with Brídíní Óga, but McCourt pulled off a string of fine second-half saves.

2 SINEAD O’REILLY – Knockbride
Defended brilliantly as they claimed an Ulster win in Fanad.

3 NIAMH CLEARY – Drumragh
Excelled at the back as Devenish were held to just two points.

4 TONY O’HAGAN – Madden
Superb on a glorious day for the Raparees as they won the Armagh title for the first time in their history.

5 RONAN FOX – Loughmacrory
Goal-line clearance a key moment in a fine defensive display for the Lough.

6 DARREN HUGHES – Scotstown
The veteran showed all his class as Scotstown were tested all the way by Inniskeen.

7 SEAN QUIGLEY – Clonmore
Up and down the field all day in the Armagh JFC replay success over Middletown.

8 CATHAL DONAGHY – Loughmacrory
A tower of strength in midfield. Scored five points.

9 NIALL FITZSIMMONS – Portaferry
Operating around the middle, he banged over five points as Portaferry made it four in-a-row.

10 SHARON MURPHY – Lisnaskea
A thrilling 3-3 tally saw her side into the next round of Ulster.

11 ULTÁN KELM – Erne Gaels
Best showing of the season as he drove the Gaels to Fermanagh glory.

12 DARRAGH MCMULLEN – Madden
One of the best Armagh final appearances in many years. Did everything you’d want from a top player.

13 TOMMY MALLEN – Scotstown
The youngster stood up and landed seven points in a real battle with Inniskeen.

14 AIDEEN MCGONIGLE – Dungiven
Latest hat-trick took the Derry side through to the Ulster Junior A final.

15 ENDA O’SHEA – Munterconnaught
Scored heavily in the heavy provincial win over Ardglass.
