THERE was another big weekend of action across the leagues as the season begins to take shape.

Here are the star players.

1 GAVIN MULREANY Donegal
Saved a penalty and pinged over a couple of cracking scores.

2 PAUDI MCGROGAN Derry
Showed his class again as Derry had it all too easy against Offaly.

3 AIMEE LENNON Down
Excellent as Down picked up a notable scalp in Dublin in the camogie league.

4 NEVA LOUDEN Down
Some great early defending set the tone against Roscommon as the Mourne County won in Cherryvale.

5 OISIN BRADY Cavan
A superb second-half display as Cavan showed plenty of guts to peg back Kildare.

6 CONOR O’GRADY Donegal
Fine performance against Armagh and popped up with a goal.

7 DANIEL GUINNESS Down
Another top display from the Carryduff man who has been superb under Conor Laverty.

8 KEELAN MOLLOY Antrim
Superb on his return as Antrim were far too strong for Carlow.

9 JASON MCGEE Donegal
A magnificent performance in Armagh. One of his best ever in the green and gold.

10 NIAMH KEENAGHAN Cavan
Early scoring stanza set up a crucial derby win over Donegal.

11 MARIE GREENAN Monaghan
A tally of 5-3, yes 5-3, on an historic day for the Monaghan camogs.

12 TURLOUGH MULLIN Tyrone
Came off the bench and scored 2-1 against Fermanagh – the match winner.

13 DOMINIC MCENHILL Antrim
Tore Leitrim apart with a great kicking display for a much-needed two points.

14 NICOLE MCATAMNEY Antrim
Her 1-5 tally was key to a famous win in Cork.

15 TIERNA MAXWELL Armagh
A nice 1-2 to start the season as Armagh won in Roscommon.
