AFTER another weekend of championship action, here is the latest Gaelic Life team of the week…
1 RORY BEGGAN Scotstown
No trophy but another top performance from probably the best ‘keeper to ever emerge from the province.
2 EVAN CROWE Ballyhaise
Fine marking job to keep Aidan Nugent relatively subdued.
3 RYAN DOUGAN Glen
A massive presence at the back and even got up to add to Glen’s tally.
4 MICHAEL WARNOCK Glen
Super block when the game was in the balance. Another excellent showing to add to the list.
5 EUNAN MULHOLLAND Glen
Three points from play was absolutely crucial.
6 PEARSE CASEY Cullyhanna
The captain had a big impact, not least kicking the winning score for the south Armagh side.
7 LIAM GRAY Trillick
Another livewire performance as Trillick completed the 2023 double.
8 CONOR GLASS Glen
Once again showed his worth to the Watty Graham’s with a physical display. Kicked a brilliant score too.
9 DARREN HUGHES Scotstown
Couldn’t have given any more. A warrior.
10 CAOLAN REAVEY Cullyhanna
The youngster’s 1-2 tally was key to the Armagh side’s Intermediate triumph.
11 BARRY DONNELLY Arva
Hit 1-2 from play as the Cavan side eased past Wandsworth Gaels in the Junior Twinning final.
12 SIAN O’NEILL Carryduff
The captain found the net twice as the Down side beat Lurgan in the Ulster Ladies Minor final.
13 LORCAN MONE Castleblayney
He notched four points from play as Castleblayney minors saw off Clan na Gael.
14 KIERAN HUGHES Scotstown
Another top performance. Unlucky to see last-gasp speculative goal effort fall into ’keeper’s hands.
15 CONOR MCCAHILL Four Masters
His five points were vital in the dramatic victory over Magherafelt minors.
