Gaelic Life team of the week

AFTER another weekend of action across all codes, here is our latest Gaelic Life Team of the Week.

There was a weekend of camogie action involved Armagh, Derry and Tyrone while there was also a double bill of Ulster SFC.

Here is our selection…

1  JOHN O’HARE Down

Smart first-half save and excellent kick-outs, the perfect response to the Division Three final loss.

2 PADDY BURNS Armagh

Forced a series of turnovers and brought the ball out with pace against Fermanagh.

3 EIMEAR HAYES Armagh

Part of an excellent defensive effort that eventually secured league honours after a dramatic finish.

4 SEAN CASSIDY Derry

Scored a point and was part of a strong Derry defensive unit.

5 RYAN BOGUE Fermanagh

Experience shone through as 13-man Fermanagh held off Leitrim.

6 DANIEL GUINNESS  Down

His fine 2024 continued against Antrim in what proved to be a tricky evening for the hosts.

7 MARC JORDAN Antrim

The experienced head put in a very good shift for the Saffrons against Down.

8 CIARAN MACKIN Armagh

Dominated at Brewster Park – key player now.

9 CIAN RAFFERTY Monaghan

Helped himself to 1-3 as Monaghan were too strong for Fermanagh in the UMFC.

10 LIAM MCKINNEY   Donegal

Star player as Donegal left Armagh with the win.

11 RORY GRUGAN Armagh

Silky stuff as Armagh made short work of Fermanagh.

12 ÁINE BARTON Derry

Grabbed nine points at Croke Park, including four from play, but it wasn’t enough as they fell to Westmeath.

13 LARA DEVLIN Tyrone

Managed 1-7 from play in tough conditions as Tyrone claimed league honours against Wicklow.

14 NICHOLAS KENNY Cavan

Scored 1-11 in a good win over Warwickshire to start off their championship.

15 KARL JOSEPH MOLLOY Donegal

Hit a crucial 1-1 in the Ulster U-20 win over Armagh.
