Gaelic Life Team of the Week

THE championship action was in full flow against last weekend.

Here is our selection of the star players from games involving Ulster teams.

1 ETHAN RAFFERTY Armagh

A different kind of performance with a number of key saves proving crucial.

2 RYAN O’TOOLE Monaghan

Like a man possessed at times against Louth. Brilliant display.

3 PADRAIG GOODMAN Tyrone

Superb in a brilliant full-back unit as Tyrone won the Ulster MFC.

4 JOHN DONOHOE Cavan

Scored a two-pointer, had a hand in others in the Ulster MFC loss to Tyrone.

5 ROSS MCQUILLAN Armagh

His fine 2025 campaign continued with a top showing against Derry.

6 KIERAN MCGEARY Tyrone

Tigerish display as Tyrone caused an upset in Ballybofey.

7 JARLY ÓG BURNS Armagh

Full of energy against Derry, they couldn’t pin him down at all.

8 CONOR GLASS Derry

Caused Armagh real problems, even when Derry were easily second best.

9 MICHAEL LANGAN Donegal

On the losing side but finished with seven from play from six scores.

10 MÍCHÉAL BANNIGAN  Monaghan

Star continues to rise as Monaghan impressed against Louth.

11 STEPHEN O’HANLON Monaghan

Early goal set the tone and the speedster impressed from there.

12 SINEAD QUINN Armagh

Fine 1-2 tally as Armagh opened their All-Ireland Premier Junior Championship campaign with a win in Roscommon.

13 HARRY FEARON Armagh

A hat-trick of goals as Armagh hammered Dublin in the All-Ireland Minor B quarter-final. Kildare are up next for the Orchard.

14 JOEL KERR Tyrone

Mazy runs caused havoc in the Cavan defence in the Ulster MFC final.

15 DARREN MCCURRY Tyrone

Another defence terrified as the ‘Dazzler’ took out. Donegal couldn’t get a handle on him in Ballybofey.
