IT was another weekend of county action with teams getting knocked out while others made a step into the next round.

Here is our selection of Ulster’s star players.

1 Ronan Burns – Down
Another string of saves against Galway in an excellent debut season.

2 Finnbarr Roarty – Donegal
His energy was at the forefront of their win over Louth and he kicked two points.

3 Elliott Kerr – Tyrone
An assured performance as Tyrone booked another minor final spot.

4 Emily Druse – Armagh
Despite a shock All-Ireland exit, Druse put in another fine display

5 Declan McCusker – Fermanagh
Got forward to kick a point but his input wasn’t enough to down Kildare

6 Oisin Devlin – Ardboe
A controlled display in the heart of defence in victory over Dromore

7 Jack Doherty – Glen
An all-action showing as Glen bossed Castledawson for long spells.

8 Kealan Dunleavy – Glenswilly
A vital role as Glenswilly saw off St Eunan’s in a tight encounter.

9 Odhrán Murdock – Down
Didn’t deserve to be on the losing team against Galway in a classic.

10 Darren McAnespie – Tyrone
The Red Hand minors beat Roscommon and McAnespie was pivotal.

11 Róisín McCormick – Antrim
Notched 1-7 as Antrim camogs saw off Meath to earn top spot.

12 Sean O’Neill – Cargin
A sensational 29 tally as Cargin picked up another victory.

13 Oisín Gallen – Donegal
Kicked 0-5 as Donegal pulled clear of Louth.

14 Paddy Lynch – Cavan
His 0-12 marked his progress after injury but it wasn’t enough to stop Kerry

15 Cahir McMonagle – Steelstown
The Brian Ógs drew with Faughanvale and McMonagle bagged 2-6.
