Hall steps away from Armagh

By Niall McCoy

JEMAR Hall has become the latest name to step away from Kieran McGeeney’s Armagh panel.

The Forkhill ace, who made his debut back in 2016, appeared in all three of Armagh’s Ulster games last year as the Orchard County just missed out on the Anglo Celt.

Hall did bag a Celtic Cross and was part of the matchday panel for the county’s famous 2024 All-Ireland triumph.

A number of other players, including Stefan Campbell, Ciaron O’Hanlon and Ciaran Higgins, have departed the panel with Rory Grugan and Connaire Mackin currently travelling. Key defender Barry McCambridge is facing up to five months on the sidelines after picking up a serious foot injury in a recent club game with his native Clann Éireann.
