FORMER Armagh goalkeeper Paul Hearty has linked up with Gavin Devlin in Louth.
The Crossmaglen man, who had worked within the Wee County’s underage structures previously, will join as Devlin’s goalkeeper coach and follows Tyrone’s Ronan O’Neill into the set-up.
It brings to four the number of Cross players on the inter-county scene currently.
Oisín McConville remains manager of Wicklow while Tony McEntee, as revealed by Gaelic Life, has linked up with Conor Laverty in Down. Aaron Kernan has also recently joined the Meath management under Robbie Brennan.
Hearty retired from Orchard County duty in 2012 having won an All-Ireland and a host of Ulster medals.
He retired from club action in 2017 after a trophy-laden club career, although he did act as emergency cover on a number of occasions.
