THERE will be two hurling hurling development roadshows based in Ulster as the National Hurling Development committee begin to roll out their plans for growing the game.
These events will outline the work done by the committee, under newly appointed National Head of Hurling, William Maher
The first of seven roadshows will take place in St Mary’s University College, Belfast, on Friday, May 9 from 7pm to 8.30pm.
Chairperson of the National Hurling Development Committee, Terry Reilly, will give an overview of the National Hurling Development Priorities.
This will be followed by a keynote address given by GAA President, Jarlath Burns, on his vision for the future of hurling.
National Head of Hurling, William Maher, will outline strategic focus areas for 2025-2030 including provincial and county hurling plans and progress reporting.
HDC member, Neil McManus, will then host a question-and-answer session.
The dates and venues for all of the upcoming Hurling Development Roadshows are as follows, with all of them commencing at 7pm.
Friday, May 9 – St Mary’s University College, Belfast
Wednesday, May 14 – Tyrone GAA Centre of Excellence, Garavaghey
Thursday, May 15 – Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence, Bekan
Monday, May 19 – Cedral St. Conleth’s Park, Newbridge
Friday, May 23 – SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork
Wednesday, June 4 – Kilkenny Newpark Hotel
Friday, June 6 – Mary Immaculate College, Limerick
