Magherafelt finalise management team for next season

By Michael McMullan

MAGHERAFELT have finalised their management team ahead of the 2026 season with Enda Muldoon taking over as manager.

Muldoon was part of the Gavin Devlin’s management team last season.

Devlin, who will take charge of Louth this season, will remain on board.

Rossa have also added Crossmaglen’s Stephen Kernan to their management team.

Kernan is an All-Ireland winner with Crossmaglen and managed the Rangers to the Armagh title in 2022.

Feargal Duffin, Ciaran Sloan and Oisin Quinn will remain on board with Magherafelt while Joe Keenan is stepping away.

Magherafelt reached the Derry final last season where they lost to reigning champions Newbridge.

They go into the new season bidding to win a seventh title and lift the John McLaughlin Cup for the first time since 2019.

Kernan is the third Armagh man appointed to Derry clubs in recent weeks. Finian Moriarty was appointed as the new Glen manager with Barry O’Hagan coming into Lavey as joint-manager with Shay Murrin.
