Mark Doran has been appointed as the new Antrim senior football manager

By Michael McMullan

ANTRIM have appointed Mark Doran as their new senior football manager.

The Longstone man, an All-Ireland winner with Down in 1999, was part of the squad beaten by Cork in the 2010 All-Ireland final.

He is currently the manager of Sleacht Néill.

Doran was part of the Roscommon management team last season under Davy Burke.

He was also coach with Clare and his native Down.

Doran steered Ballybay to their last Monaghan title before taking over at Emmet Park.

Doran takes over after Andy McEntee stepped down.

Antrim will begin 2026 in Division Four after last season’s relegation.
